The overall purpose and objective of our club is to stimulate knowledge of and an interest in gardening and horticulture among members. We also aid in the protection, conservation, and preservation of native and cultivated plants, trees, shrubs, native birds, and pollinators.
Meetings comprise of activities concerning gardening, plants, nature or pollinators. These take the form of educational speakers, trips to gardens, parks, and farms, service projects, or floral arranging to name a few. Each year our programs may evolve to reflect environment changes or concerns or we may revisit some of our past favorite programs.
Regular meetings of the LHGC are the 2nd Wednesday of each month, September through January and March through May with no meeting in February. Meetings begin at 11:00 am and generally end by 1:30.
We are always welcoming new members who share in our love of nature and plants.
Lake Hills Garden Club shall operate on a non-discriminating basis without regard to race, creed, color, religion, gender, age or otherwise.
